The Face Book Social Network: The mechanism for transferring the data of application users from European Union citizens to the United states of America will not work any more

Officials of the Irish Data Protection Authority (DPC) Confirmed that the used mechanism for transferring the personal data of users of the Facebook application from citizens of the European Union to the United States of America cannot be used again.
The representatives of the Face book stated in an official statement that the mechanism used for the disclosure of personal data of users is inconsistent with standards approved by the Supereme Court of the European Union last JULY.
According to the Wall Street Journal Europeans do not
have the power to control the practices of the United States of America in monitoring and controlling user data.
Nick Clegg ,Vice President of the Face BOOK for Communication and Iternational Relations , stated that the Irish data protection authority (DPC ) Has submitted a request to stop the transfer of citizens’ data from the European Union to the United States of America and not to use the approved mechanism for that in the future
On the other hand ,the lack of adequate protection for user data will harm the economy in many sectors of the European Union, which is still suffering from the consequences of the recent interruption of much business due to the Corona pandemic.
Clegg said the data transfer process would continue as usual until a Hformal decision was received stop it.
He also mentioned that there are many efforts exerted to put in place a specific framework to protect the data of Face book users that both the European Union and the United States of America work on ,as according to Clegg ,they adopt the same democratic values and frameworks ,and the law also represents a major role in determining the use of power to monitor citizens in each of them.
According to these developments ,Facebook will have to adopt a new mechanism to program the way it collects data for its users and the means it uses, and to stop the process of transferring it , at least for now , until the final decision in this regard is issued ,which will give the Irish Data Protection Authority the DPC the right to impose fines on Face book estimated at 4% Of its annual profits ,it is estimated at 2.8 billion US dollars , equivalent to 2.4 billion euros.
