The tourism work team urges to take radical steps to revitalize tourism in Ireland

The Irish Tourism promotion Authority called for steps to be taken to preserve and revive tourism, the call came as a result of the sharp recession in the Irish tourism market , which was severely affected following the spread of the Corona pandemic.
The authority has also developed and action plan to stimulate tourism in Ireland for the year 2020-2023 aimed at promoting and marketing Irish tourism , and about 120 million euros have been allocated as grants for assistance to Irish tourism companies.
Any long -term plan for the tourism sector will depend on business support over the next six months , said Ruth Andrews ,chief executive of the Association of Incoming Tour Operators.
As she told RTE Radio’s morning Ireland program ‘,The tourism market in Ireland will witness a boom in the coming years but it needs to make sure it is in a strong position to witness this boom’.
The tourism team recommended granting aid to companies that depend on international tourism , such as car rental companies to transport tourists to tourist attractions and tour operators ,these companies that have stopped their work due to the impact of the Corona pandemic.
