Be Winter Ready campaign Launched byAn Garda Síochána
The Irish police appeals to all motorists to follow simple tips to ensure they are ready for the winter season , such as checking tires, lights and indicators for their vehicles and before moving to make sure to check the meteorological site for weather updates , and to make sure that all the car’s windows are clean and also remove any snow remaining on the roof the car is in the event of snow ,and drivers have also been advised to avoid severe braking because that leads to slipping.
A copy of the Be Winter Ready booklet was also prepared as part of the Irish Government’s initiative to help families prepare for the winter season while coping with the impacts of the emerging coronavirus pandamic
