PPSN
Personal Public Service number (PPSN) is a unique reference number given to you that helps you access social welfare benefits and public services in Ireland. To get a PPSN you must make an appointment.
PPSN is required for Revenue (taxes) registration in Ireland

Required Documents
- Original Passport
- Employment Contract
- Support letter from work directed to PPSN including company’s PPSN
- Proof of Address (any of the following)
- Tenant contract
- Utility (Electricity/Gas) bill
- Bank Statement
- Marriage Certificate Translated into English (For dependant visa traveller)
- Mobile Number
Tips
1. In you PPSN appointment, you will be asked why do you want to apply for a PPS. You should mention one of the following reasons:

- Work (For Primary/working traveller)
- Driving License (For dependant visa traveller)
- Child Benefit (For dependant visa traveller)
2. You should apply for PPSN for your children to be able to claim child benefit
