Young people are invited to participate in an innovative project on developing the city of Cork

this creative project aims to encourage young people to express their views on the future of Cork and participate in the planning process for the growth of the city it includes the regions of Palincolleg,Blairnye ,Glenumberg and Burj .More than 1000 young people will participate to present their ideas about the future development of Cork.
Freedom of the city” organization invited elementary school students ,second and third grades ,to participate in the project .and express their future ideas.
Over 50 schools and community groups will also participate to support the project through creative workshops during April and May. With support from the Gluckman team ,ideas and artwork are presented at apublic gallery in Glucksman in june that will be reviewed by Cork City Council planners as part of the City plan.
Fiona Kerry, Director of Gluksman ,said it was a pleasure for Glucksman to partner with University College Cork researchers and planners on Cork City Council to implement a creative project that invites so many young people to express their creative views on the future of Cork.
