Hand hygiene tips on World Health Organization Day of Hand Hygiene around the World
Today (Wednesday, May5) marks the World Health Organization`s Day for hand hygiene around the world, as the Department of Health research showed that 96% of people wash their hands frequently as a result of the emerging corona virus pandemic and 90% of them say they will continue to clean their hands frequently after the end of the epidemic .
Note that hand hygiene plays an important role in stopping the spread of Coronavirus infection as well as preventing all other types of infections that are still present.
Dr. Nawala O`Connor , ageneral practitioner , says: We want people to continue to keep their hands clean and help their children learn , good hand hygiene , to help stop the spread of the Corona virus and other infectious diseases , and she explained that by following the following advice , you can protect yourself and your family from any infection.
1-Wash your hands properly after coughing or sneezing , and before and after preparing and eating food, and after using the toilet or cganging your childs diaper , wash your hands before and after being in acrowd, when entering buildings and before leaving ,
including your home or anyone else`s home.
2-wash your hands after touching animals or their droppings, before and after visiting someone in a hospital or residential place.
3- Be wary of technology Computers and cell phones are a constant in oure lives , and you cannot work without it . You have to take good care of their hygiene.
