Taoiseach Micheal martin declares housing is the first crisis facing people in Ireland, especially the youth
Taosiseach Mr. Michael Martin, expressed his deep concern about the housing crisis in Ireland and said” young people are the most deprived in terms of access to housing , stressing that the Irish government will do its utmost to provide young peoplewith anumber of homes across the country at somewhat reduced prices .
He explained that the Irish government is always keen to support thr Irish housing market in order to find a solution to this crisis and stressed that the Coronavirus pandemic has negatively affected the Irish economy in general and directly on the construction work in Ireland , as construction and infrastructure projects have been disrupted in many provinces.
Earlier , the goverment announced a plan to construct 9,500 new homees and complete construction of 3,250 homes , and Mr Martin expressed his hope to complete these plans.
