Varadkar- Gradual relaxation of restrictions on international travel,effective Jule19
Speaking to the RTE`S Morning Ireland program , Irish Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Lio Fardkar stated that the lifting of restrictions on international travel would be ”gradual” and said it was wonderful to have a return to travel abroad soon , but that the government would do so as safely as possible.
He stressed that all European Union countries will come out of the list of mandatory hotel quarantine , and said that some other countries will remain on the red or the danger list when internationa travel is allwed, as strict restrictions will remain , and he said that Ireland will not be the first country to open international travel because it wants to avoid what happened , Last December , the number of Coronavirus cases increased.
A high- ranking source at NPHET also confirmed that the green light was given to allow hotels to reopen as planned on June2 and to resume outdoor dining from July7 , and said public health experts had indicated that up to 5,000 spectators could attend outdoor matches at large stadiums As of eary August , the number of guests allowed to attend the wedding ceremony is set to increase from 50 to 100 in A ugust as per the advice given to the Council of Ministers .
Chief Medical Officer Dr .Tony Huluhan has expressed his concern about the new Indian anemia in addition to the fact that there are still millions of people who have not yet been vaccinated , yet the mood of everyone is optimistic and positive.
Mr. Vardkar clarified later that the cabinet will consider easing international travel restrictions from July 19 with a clear road map for those who are considered eligible under the European Union`s new digital green certificate system , and on the other hand , the Cabinet will also reopen the hospitality sector and allow bars , restaurants will be serving indoors as of July 5 th.
