Dublin City Council to install 150 Toilets and 80 rubbish bins before the weekend
A Dublin City Council member said there will be 150 Toilets installed in the city before the end of this week as well as 80 rubbish bins being made avaible in anticipation of an increase in turnout at the weekend. A large number of groups gathered there last weekend.
Chief Medical Officer Dr.Tony Holloman also expressed concern about the large crowds at South William streath last week and warned that not all outdoor activities were safe.
With additional toilets scheduled to open daily from 10am to 11pm, the move comes after a massive amount of public pressure in the past seven days.
Toilets locations:
In the north side of the city will be available in:
Royal Canal
Wolfetone Squar-additional provision
Smithfield- south end
Mountjoy Squre
Diamond park
And in the south side of the city it will be provided in theses places:
Sycamore Street
Temple Bar Square
Chatham Row
South King Street
Coppinger Row
Dame Lane
Merrion Square
Separately, Cork City Coucil said it will not provide temporary public restrooms in the city center this coming weekend.
