Cork City Council announces over 12o new homes
Sixty- four new Cork City Council homes opened today and 62 homes are sheduled to be built in the coming month.
The Mayor of Cork has opened 20 new homes in Ard na Ri and Bandduff and eighteen more in An Choilleog. Woofield, Blarney and seventeen and nine new homes on Chandon Street and John Philpott curran Street.
The mantels will be for sale by Cork City Council and will be offered to eligible applicants and twenty-seven homes will be allocated to those on the Socil Housing List.
Cork City Council Assistant Chief Executive Officer Brian Jenny said housing is at the forefront of Cork City Council`s goals and will remain in the coming years , despite the difficulties posed by the pandemic and the restrictions imposed , as the housing planning program is thriving and remains on the right track.
The Assistant Chief Executive Officer of Cork City Council praised the efforts made by all those involved and assured that the Council will continue to lead the way for more homes to be delivered.
