The Minister of Health confirms the opening of the registration portal for Corona virus vaccines for the 35-39 age group, starting from Sunday
The Minister of Health , Mr Stephen Donnelly , confirmed that the portal for registration of vaccines for the emerging corona virus will open for those aged between 35and 39 years , starting nex Sunday.
Earlier today, a study indicated that people who are less likely to fpllow news coverage about the Corona virus are more likely to hesitate to receive the vaccine.
The behavioral research unit at the Institute of Economic and Socil Research also found alink between reluctance to take the vaccine and a lack of knowledge and awareness of its benefits.
Dr Deirdre Roberson , the study`s lead author, said ” These findings suggest that some people who are not sure about getting the vaccine may not know engough about it.
The result suggest that providing factual information about how avaccine is developed and tested, and the realistic effectiveness of vaccines in prevnting disease , may bridge this knowledge gap.
