Simo Tech Ireland announces 70 new jobs and opens new headquarters in Cork
SimoTech, a leading IT systems company for the pharmaceutical/ biotech sector, has announced that it will create 70 jobs over the next two years, with these jobs to be based in Carrigaline area of Cork.
These new jobs are only the first step, said Simo Tech CEO Des Monde, as the company looks to expand its footprint in the coming years across Europe, the United States and Asia.
The roles required will be in the areas of Operations Systems, Information Labs , IT Infrastructure and Project Management.
Prime Minister Micheal Martin, welcomed Simo Tech`s announcement, saying this is a shining example of the kind of technological innovation it offers , as biotechnology and pharmaceuticals are critical sectors of the Irish economy.
