The Irish Cancer Society provides support to people with cancer
The Irish Cancer Society encourages anyone who has cancer in Cork and needs free couseling support to access help.
The Irish Cancer Society says cancer patients, survivors and those around them have been exposed to a lot of stress during the pandemic including disruption of treatments and services , social isolation and uncertainty about vaccinations.
Expert cancer consultant Derry Stanley said that it is not only about financial support that the public in Ireland has made many donations, but the affected person needs emotional support as well, because a diagnosis of cancer causes feeling of shock , fear and sadness.
Consultations are available for children , adults and all age groups through the association`s free support line on the number.
