Stripe announces hundreds of new jobs in Dublin
Stripe has announced that hundreds of software engineering jobs will be created in Dublin over the next three years , and 1,000 new jobs will be created on the Irish island starting next March.
Stripe Company was founded by Limerick brothers Patrick and John Collison in 2010 in the United States of America San Francisco, and opened and engineering center in Dublin three years ago.
The company’s new investments are supported by the state through ID Ireland .
Earlier this year , the company announced plans to significantly increase its workforce in the Irish Republic , where the company has a workforce of 400 employees so far.
The CEO of IDA Ireland welcomed the company’s announcement and added that the growth of the company’s new engineering center will cement Ireland as a recognized global software leader , and hundreds of new jobs announced will signifcantly support the Irish economy.
