The( NPHET) National Emergency Team advises the government that employees should work from home where possible

The National public Health Emergency Team met to discuss the situation regarding Covid-19 and advised the government that employees should work from homeas as much as possible amid the rising numbers of Coronavirus cases Corona virus infection last week , the smallest in Ireland so far.
Following the meeting , public health officials also recommended ongoning commuications targeting employers and employees regarding preventive measures in the work Safely Protocol, a source from Nphet said, while it was recommended to work from home as much as possible , the letter of recommendation did not include any mandatory work requests from home.

The National Public Health Emergency Team advised to reduce social contact and wear masks and advised to work from home wherever possible to try to control the high numbers of cases of coronavirus infection and for emplyers to support this step.
The government’s indications may indicate that the Cabinet will consider this recommendatin nex Tuesday.
