Meteorologists warn of low temperatures and icy extensions in many areas
The Irish Meteorological Authority has announced forecasts of temperatures dropping to -3 degrees Celsius with the spread of severe frosts and extensions of snow , which may lead to some travel disruptions.
The weather warning is in effect from 7 p.m on Tuesday until 10 a.m on Wednesday.
The Road Safety Authority has warned drivers to be aware of potential travel disruptions during those hours, the warning comes after a nationwide weather warning has been issued with a mix of rain , sleet and snow, and the unsettled weather will continue until the end of the week.
