A long-awaited new law gives adopted people access to records about their identity

Irish Childhood Minister Roderick O’German has announced a new law aimed at helping those people who wish to search for information about their origins Information about them ,as well as providing information about other family members.
Mr Ogerman intends to start the implementation phase of this legislation whithin the next two weeks , declaring his commitment to develop it as soon as possible this year, explaining that there are hundreds of people affected by the adoption issue becaues they were unable to obtain clear information about their identity and origins and were illegally registered , but this law will grant automatic righs to those people , suach as the right to obtain birth certificates and information about their lives before adoption .
Under the new law, adopters will not have to attend a mandatory information session when searching for records.
