Significant increase in cyberattacks since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine
on February 24, 2022 , Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces , Since the start of this invasion , cyber attacks have increased, specifically during the past two weeks , said Mr Ronan Murphy , CEO of Smart Tech Group for Cyber Security over the Internet, the more political unrest and wars around The world is increasing in cyber- attacks because of the war of Ukraine the world has seen a 25% jump in cyber – attacks a round the world in the past two weeks.
Also, the National Cyber Security Center in Ireland is currently working on a high alert to face such crimes , after the Irish police confirmed that Ireland has witnessed a significant increase in the number of cybercrime over the Internet, especially when it comes to investment fraud , and advises caution .
