Social Welfare Ireland : €125 fuel allowance to help pensioners and other welfare – dependent families
Ireland’s Social Protection Minister Heather Hammers has announced that a€125 fuel allowance has been approved for welfare – dependent families started, as part of the government’s €505 million package aimed at mitigating the effects of rising energy costs, Fuel allowance through their bank account , depending on their welfare.
The fuel allowance is paid to retirees widows , job seekers , single parents and people with disabilities , the package also included a€200 reduction in energy bills for individuals , which will take effect this month , in addition to recent government measures that will benefit people receiving family payments working.
On the other hand , the government also responded last week by reducing the production tax on gasoline and diesel , which has become a major concern for motorists in recent months.
