Ireland’s Food Safety Authority warns against consuming a number of products sold in Dunnes Stores

The Irish Food Safety Authority has issued a warning against the consumption of number of products recently sold in Dunnes Stores
including a number of batches of dried cheery tomato products that have been recalled , and warned that they contain the pesticide chlorpyrifos , which is no longer approved for food use in the European Union , Over a long period of time it poses a potential danger to human health
Cabbage salad products and other products containing shredded cabbage or carrots have also been recalled because they contain Listeria monocytogenes , a bacterium that can cause gastrointestinal symptoms.
A group of these products have also been withdrawn , details below.
- Butlers Coleslaw – pack size 250g – use by dates: 13, 14, and 15 March 2022
- Butlers Lite Coleslaw – pack size 250g – use by dates: 13, 14, and 15 March 2022
- Butlers Egg Mayonaise – pack size 350g – use by dates: 12, 13 and 14 March 2022
- Consumers are advised not to take any of the affected batches
