Weather: Meteorological forecast changes during the next few days : Winter rains with lower temperatures
The Irish Met Office has issued a warning of the possibility of bad weather and torrential rain across the county this week.
The current forecast for five days look like this:
Monday: rain is expected in the north and west, with the temperature reaching 14 degrees Celsius.
Tuesday: rain continues in the north and the west , no rain in the rest of the country.
Wednesday: Expectations that it will be a windy day :strong westerly winds , stormy and widespread rain , most of them in the western coastal provinces, and the temperature is expected to reach 4 degrees Celsius at night.
Thursday: It is expected that it will witness a mixture of sunny spells and isolated rain, reaching at temperature of 7 to 10 degrees Celsius , and in the southern part of the county, heavy rains are expected with the lowest temperature from -2 to 3 degrees Celsius.
