A meeting of ministry of Health officials following the sharp increase in cases of Corona virus

Yesterday evening , officials of the Irish ministry of Health met to follow the sharp increase in the number of corona virus cases over the weekend.
The National Public Health Emergency team(NPHET) also met to make recommendations to the government to help limit the spread of the emerging corona virus ,and among these recommendations was how to safely reopen schools.
The chief physician,Dr. Ronan Glenn stated ,”A number of people were indifferent to the extent of the seriousness of the Corona virus ,which led to frustration of efforts by the government and by conservative people.”He said that the pandemic did not end once some people became bored of living with it.
Where the World Health Organisation indicated that the date available so far shows that the date available so far shows that 80%of cases of Covid _19 disease are mild and without symptoms,15% of them are considered serious cases and require oxygen,and 5%of them are considered critical cases that require artificial respiration.
In general, the individual must be about 15 minutes or more from the infected person’s range or within two meters of the infected person in order to be within the danger zone closely connected with him.
Heath Minister Stephen Donnelly said that the police had visited more than 3,000 facilities over the weekend, and that 26 restaurants were not in compliance with public health directives ,and confirmed that the next few weeks are very critical in the battle against Covid_19.
The Minister of Health add that requests to travel aboard will be discussed by the Ministry of Health and the Executive Authority for Health Services of the Council of Ministers,and he stressed the need for every one to listen to the advice of public health doctors and guidance on dealing with the emerging corona virus.
