Minister for Health Stephen Donnlly :The mid-term break will not be longer than a week

Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly said’ there is no plan to extend the midterm vaction and stressed ‘it will not be extended’.
The minister also stressed during his interview with Radio One the importance of continuing the educational process in Ireland and that this is one of the government’s priorities , the minister’s response came based on reports issued on Friday about the possibility of extending the mid -term vacation in schools, and that the idea was discussed informally by the council of Ministers.
He also explained that the continued attendance of students to schools does not contribute to the increase in cases of infection with the Corona virus, and said’ the number of children infected with the virus before and after the opening of schools was almost the same, and that the level of transmission is very low compared to adults’.
