The Minister of Education confirms her commitment to keep schools open

Ms. Norma Foley, Minister of Education , affirmed her commitment to keeping schools open following the NPHET recommendation , and the government’s decision yesterday evening to move to Level 5 restrictions with the Novel Coronavirus Coexistence Plan.

Ms. Norma Foley said that one of the important factors in the decision to move to Level 5 is that by doing so, schools can be supported to continue operating safely during the pandemic , and she also said that ensuring students continue to go school is a major goal of the government.

The Minister also thanked all employees and officials in school communities for their hard work to implement the guidelines and adhere to them , and said i urge everyone to continue to fully comply with the measure in place ,knowing that we all have areal role in suppressing the virus and maintaining the safety of student to go to school.
