The Minister of Education Launches the Active School Week initiative from 26 to 30 April
On Friday ,April 16 ,2021 ,ms Norma Foley , Irish Minister of Education , released the details of this year`s active school week , as the,National Active School Week,(ASW21) takes place from April 26 to 30 and is part of Government`s Keep well compaign.Keep Well | Sport Ireland This campaign aims to teach all age groups to make care of their physical and mental health by addind healthy and beneficial habits to the daily and weekly routines . the program will also provide instructions on how to creat aplan to do things that will help individuals maintain their health over the coming months.
The program (ASW21) aims to help schools integrate periods of physical acitivties during the school day in general with the importance that all activities presented during this initiative be fun and comprehensive, in order to encourage students to be more active, and the initiative will be full of resources and advanced ideas to support the vital efforts of all the The participants
The initiative also provides an opportunity for schools to enhance parent involvement the ASW21 Active Every Day Challenge program encourages both school communities and parents to work together to help students practice exercises that make them more active and energetic.
