The government confirms: outdoor Sports activities will reopen on Monday
The Cabinet met earlier yesterday evening to discuss a plan to ease the restrictions of the Corona virus imposed on the country and the government confirmed that it will move forward in easing restrictions as planned ,as of April 26 2021.
Outdoor sports activities ,including tennis courts and golf courts, will reopen with a maximum of two-family allowed to meet together , but other facilities , such as changing rooms, must remain closed except for the basic toilets.
Outdoor training for children can continue in groups of up to 15 children, and outdoor attractions such as zoos ,open pets farms and heritage sites can welcome visitors again.
A statement also confirmed that the number of people who can attend the funeral will increase to 25.
This comes as tanaiste Leo Varadkar proposes the possibility of reopening personal services such as hairdressers , hairdressers and retailers next month as the government plans for the next phase of easing restrictions.
Varadkar said that it could also allow more outside activities , as well as acomplete return to construction and the exception of religious services.
The cabinet will meet again next week to consider the recommendations of public health experts to discuss setting up other restrictions that can be eased next May
