Let`s Get Ready launched to support children and families during the summer months in preparation for pre- school
The Minister of Youth, Integration, and Disability , Ms Roderick Ogermann , and the Minister of Education , Ms Norma Foley, launched an initiative for children and families under the name Let`s Get Ready, which aims to support children whose parents plan to move to the pre-school and and primary stage as of next Septemper, where the campaign includes instructions for parents on practical steps that they can take to support their children over the coming months and advice on what children and parents can expect when they transition to pre-school and transition to primary school
This campaign was developed by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment and supported by a range of agencies and organizations.
Youth and Integration Minister Roderick Ogermann said :According to the lastest statistic , up to 120,000 children are preparing to enter a stage , Let`s Get Ready is agovernment – led initiative that provides parents with useful advice and suggests fun play – based activities that parents can do to support their children during the summer months .
