New Faster helicopter goes joins the Irish Community Air Ambulance
The Leonardo 109S ambulance helicopter joined the Irish Medical Ambulance Corporation , which is considered one of the fastest civilian helicopters used in the world, and it provides many comfortable medical services to patients, and saves fuel consumption.
This helicopter is also able to fly at a speed of 300 Km/h, which qualifies it to make a trip from Mizen to Malin Head in just 90 minutes , compared to the 8 hours that an ambulance takes on the road for the sam flight.
This was stated by the Executive Director of the Irish Flying Ambulance Micheal Sheridan.
