Glanbia Ireland launches ”Living proof” strategy to achieve Zero Carbon by 2050
The ” Living proof” strategy was launched by Glanbia Ireland after more than a year of planning . the strategy`s ambitious targets are set to reduce 30% of carbon emissions from its treatment sites by 2030. the company will work with more than 6,000 Irish farms the company`s over all ambition is to Zero Carbon by 2050.
the company also intends to employ more than 2, 000 employees. the overall strategy focuses on soil health and nutrition, improving the nutritional quality of the product range, reducing and recycling packaging and reducing waste. the company will also reduce the use of plastic by 15% by 2025, and 25%2030.
The company also has a clear goal of halving food waste by 2030.
