Swimming: Elain Keane wins gold for Ireland’s firist Paralympic medal
The 26 – Year- old Elain Kane performed astonishingly to the gold medal in the final of the swimming competition for the Tokyo Olympics yesterday evening. this is Ireland’s first medal at this year’s Paralympic Games.
Elain made her first appearance at the Paralympic Games when she was 13 years old in 2008 in Beijing, and she won the bronze award.
A gold medal at the Paralympics level is a major achievement.
