Irish government: the general budget for 2022 in a package of 4. 7 billion euros
Later this week, Irish Finance Misiter paschal and Public Transport Minister Micheal Mc Grath announced the details of the country’s general budget for 2022.
The government is expected to spend its budget primarily in the areas of health care, child care , social care , tourism and transportation , as there will be thousands of welfare recipients waiting for a weekly increase in their payments in addition to the Christmas bonus.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of justice obtained approval to 800 new garda’ and additional 400 civilian employees.
About 40 million euros will be allocted to marketing Ireland abroad as a tourist destination.
Mr, McGrath described the new budget as progressive , saying it will improve the public’s living standars as the country emerges from the coronavirus crisi
