An Egyptian study reveals for the first time the secrets of the mummification of the mummy of King Amenhotep1
A recent Egyptian study published on December 28, 2021 in the famous journal Frontiers in Medicine reveals for the first time the face and age of the mummy of King Grant I and many of the secrets of embalming and reburial of the mummy.

The two Egyptian scientists used modern techniques of tomography to remove the coils from the mummy of King Amenhotep 1, by default , without affecting the mummy King Amenhotep1 , at the time of his death was 35 years old.
It is worth nothing that Dr .Zahi Hawass and Dr. Sahar Selim used CT scans to examine forty Royal Mummies from the New Kingdom in the Royal Mummies Project of the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities , which began in 2005 and continues until now.
The mummy of King Amenhotep1 is the icon for the procession of the royal mummies , which was transferred from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the Museum of Civilization in Fustat in early April of this year.
