Giving the green light to build 114 apartments for rent in the Black pool area of Cork city
Within the framework of the strategic housing development process, the green light was given by An Board Pleana’ to build 114 apartment for rent in the Black pool area. The intended construction site is listed as parts of older buildings will first be demolished on the site , then 114 leasable apartments and a 313 retail unit will be built on the same construction site on Redfrog Road in the Black Pool area.
One of the conditions for giving the building permission was that a total of 114 staircases and parking spaces would be provided.
Cllr Ken Flynn said ” see this development as a positive step in the right direction for Blackpool area , he believe all of build to rent schemes in the city this has the hights chance of success given the amount of office space in the area and high demand to live in Blackpool again .
