The Waterford Greenway is the best tourist attraction for visitors in Ireland
According to the Waterford News and Stars report , the Waterford Green way has been named the best tourist attraction for 2022, as the route stretches 46km along and old railway line in the Irish city of Waterford , stretching across eleven bridges and an air tunnel.
This famous route in eastern Ireland is a tourist attraction full of heritage , history and natural beauty that runs alongside the world – famous ornamental garden of Mount Congreve and Waterford Suir Vally Railway , and the path overlooks the River Suir , the comeragh Mountains, Copper Coast Park and Dungarvan Bay.
The Mayor of Waterford , Kan Jokele , was pleased with the news that the Waterford Greenway had been named the best tourist attraction for visitors in Ireland and also praised the efforts made by Waterford County council to develop the area , which has become a favourite not only for locals but also for tourists every where .
