The Irish Minister of Higher Education,Mr Simon Harris,stressed the importance of students’ reimbursement of rental fess for university housing in the event that the country is closed again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In an interview with RTE Radio,he said,”Students were treated unfairly when university housing was closed due to the Corona pandemic,and students were not able to recover prepaid rents’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He explained that in the event of a closure of the country again , all students must receive all their money paid by the university housing administration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He indicated that with his Corona virus developments ,many universities have followed the online education system in order to preserve students’lives , which has led to many of them being forced to leave university residences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Campaigns were launched urging universities to recover university students’ prepaid rent fees Indeed,a number of universities responded to these campaigns and students were financially compensated by the administration,while some students expressed concern about the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
