The Irish Food Safety Authority has issued a warning against the consumption of number of products recently sold in Dunnes Stores<\/p>\n

including a number  of batches of dried cheery tomato products that have been  recalled , and warned that they contain the  pesticide chlorpyrifos , which is no longer approved for food use in the European Union , Over a long period of time it poses a potential danger to human health<\/p>\n

 Cabbage salad products and other products  containing shredded cabbage or carrots  have also  been recalled because they contain  Listeria monocytogenes , a bacterium that can cause gastrointestinal symptoms.<\/p>\n

 A group of these  products have  also been withdrawn , details below.<\/p>\n

  • Butlers Coleslaw – pack size 250g – use by dates: 13, 14, and 15 March 2022<\/li>\n
  • Butlers Lite Coleslaw – pack size 250g – use by dates: 13, 14, and 15 March 2022<\/li>\n
  • Butlers Egg Mayonaise – pack size 350g – use by dates: 12, 13 and 14 March 2022<\/li>\n
  •  Consumers are advised not to take any of the affected batches<\/li>\n
